Field Science Practice for Shokuiku in Childcare and Elementary Education
At Dairy Ecosystem Research & Development Center, Hiroshima University, crops are grown on land blessed by the sun, and these crops are used as feed to raise and grow livestock, producing milk, meat, and wool. In field science practice for Shokuiku in childcare and elementary education, teachers and farm technicians work together to effectively utilize the center to learn about the process of producing milk and meat through the cycle of grass, livestock, and soil, and processing them into food through lectures, practical training, and discussions, which are then applied to Shokuiku for children.
