Life, Food and Agricultural Education through Experimental Studies of Dairy Farming<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At Dairy Ecosystem Research & Development Center, Hiroshima University, crops grown with the blessings of the sun are used to raise livestock, which in turn provide milk, meat, and wool. The \u201cLife, Food and Agricultural Education through Experimental Studies of Dairy Farming\u201d is conducted with the cooperation of faculty members and farm technicians, utilizing this center. This exercise aims to provide participants with the opportunity to learn about the process of producing food sources and processing them into food products within the cycle of grass, livestock, and soil through lectures, practical training, and discussions. It also seeks to foster reflection on the interconnection between food, agriculture, and the environment, animal welfare, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the human existence sustained by the lives of other living beings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Eligible participants<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

College students and technical college students enrolled in departments other than agriculture at universities affiliated with Education Network in the Chugoku Area.
Participating universities: Elisabeth University of Music, Kindai University, Prefectural University of Hiroshima, Sanyo Women’s College, Hiroshima Shudo University, Suzugamine Women’s College,<\/mark> Hijiyama University, Hijiyama University Junior College, Hiroshima University of Economics, Hiroshima Institute of Technology, Hiroshima Kokusai Gakuin University, Hiroshima International University, Hiroshima Jogakuin University, Hiroshima City University, Hiroshima Bunka Gakuen University, Hiroshima Bunka Gakuen Two-Year College, Hiroshima Bunkyo University, Yasuda Woman’s University, Yasuda Woman’s College, National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Kure College, The University of Shimane, Hiroshima Cosmopolitan University, Hagoromo University of International Studies, Fukuyama University, Nagahama Institute of Bio-Science and Technology, Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts, Toyo Eiwa University, Teikyo University of Science, National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Yuge College<\/mark>, Hiroshima University etc.<\/mark><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
